Zoe Saldana was an American actress, dancer, and model, who gained notoriety for her prominent roles in films such as Pirates of the Caribbean. The Curse of the Black Pearl Star Trek Star Trek Into Darkness and Avatar. Ballet dancer Saldana, who was trained in ballet, had a modest beginning as a stage artist. She performed in numerous plays for FACES and New York Youth theatre group before making her debut on the cinema world through the flick Center Stage. Saldana has continued to have immense success with an impressive record of the highest grossing international films. The versatility of Saldana makes her stand out from others of who are her age. Saldana does not limit herself to a particular genre and has given effortless performance in films of diverse subjects ranging all the way from romance comedy to sci-fi to action fiction to dramatic and more. The ferocious concentration she displays and the resoluteness of her brain have enabled her to take on such a variety of characters. Apart from being a superstar in her own right Zoe Saldana is also a shrewd businesswoman. She also has her brand of vodka, a line of clothing and perfume.
