Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress born and raised within Orange County. At the age of five, she left Morocco for California. She graduated at the University of California, San Diego in the year 2015. This was the same year she got her breakthrough in acting. Pernas was a small part on NCIS as well as Leverage. She then landed the role as Marisa on The Young and the Restless. After leaving the soap opera she was offered a role as Catalina on Jane the Virgin. The model speaks four different languages and has since appeared as Catalina in The Brave with Hannah Rivera and also The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. From 2019 to 2020, she portrayed Lexi Vaziri in Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly announced in May 20 that Pernas dated Justin Hartley who was her co-star on The Young and the Restless. The romance came shortly after the This Is Us star split from her spouse Chrishell Stause November 2019. Pernas Hartley has recently tied the knot in a wedding that was secretly held as per reports in May 2020.
