Julia Fiona Roberts, born October 28, 1967 on the 28th of October, 1967 in Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation living in Atlanta, beginning with her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. In the early years of his life the father of her mother became obsessed by the acting. While a student at Emory University he appeared in numerous productions in and outside of the campus. He joined the Air Force in 1953. While being stationed at Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in the Air force. The couple got married in the year 1955. Their baby son Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana following his departure from the Air Force in the year 1957. Walter started working at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter along with Betty Lou began producing a children's television program in the city of Decatur, Georgia titled Bum Bum and His Buddies. They funded the show themselves. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou founded The Actors and Writers Workshop. It ran for about six years. Lelisa Billingsley who is also referred to as Lisa was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
